About Miriam
Miriam is a university qualified Nutritionist. She holds a Master of Human Nutrition as well as an undergraduate degree in physiology and psychology.
Her passion for the complex interaction between body and mind led her to complete research for her Masters thesis on the association between diet, physical activity and postnatal depression risk.
Miriam also has special interests in family health, food intolerances and sport nutrition.
Her philosophy is simple: there is no such thing as a magic bullet 'one size fits all' approach to healthy eating. Our food choices and eating habits are much more than an energy transaction. They are also a complex mix of personal, cultural and lifestyle choices.
Miriam is also an international medical research writer and has spent over a decade working with families of children with cancer.
