I LOVE hummus! I love it as a sauce, with a spoon and smothered on anything and everything. I also love it for its high fibre, iron and protein content. But mostly I love it because it tastes amazing.

This Middle Eastern dish makes an appearance in my house in many forms, depending on the contents of the fridge. It's actually called Shakshuka and I cannot for the life of me work out how it came to be called egg-shuka in my house. Nonetheless, its a weekend staple you must try.

This particular smoothie came to be because I love a good smoothie but I just can't tolerate that quantity of milk. Also, I don't think my kids actually need to consume that much dairy as part of their diet.
